Secret Art Prize 2016

Thank you so much for all your votes and to The Curious Duke Gallery. Unfortunately my painting ‘Grey Rock’ did not make the short list this time. Reaching the long list was very rewarding especially given the high calibre of the competition. It generated an incredible amount of activity on social media which was fun and great for my profile.

Painting makes Secret Art Prize long list

My painting ‘Grey Rock’ has made the long list for The Secret Art Prize, which is run by Curious Duke Gallery in London. This is fantastic news as the gallery would be an amazing environment to showcase for my work.

As my painting has made it to the long list, it is eligible for the ‘Peoples Choice Award’ and the winner will directly make it through to the final selection. The final works will be selected by this years judges, Radio 1 Trevor Nelson, artist Mark Powell, director/curator Anna Smithson, art historian Ana Bambic Kostov, director Frankie Shea and writer Anna McNay. I really want to make it through as this is a great opportunity!

Voting runs until 28th August. Please vote for me here.
