Working in the studio in isolation these last few weeks has helped me to immerse myself in my Alaska inspired works. In series oil & pigment paintings on plywood & canvas and line drawings in charcoal pencil on Fabriano paper. These are all works in progress using colour & drawing into painting.
Very pleased my drawing ‘Sense of Place II’ charcoal on paper, 122x152cm, 2018 has been selected for Paris Contemporary Drawing Fair, DDESSINPARIS-DD 27th-29th March 2020. Curated by Jan-Philipp Fruehsorge, The Drawing Hub Berlin.

A big thank you to everyone that came to support myself and Shirley Sharp at our first joint exhibition in a most wonderful gallery space in the heart of Bristol. We had an amazing week and met some very interesting people with whom we had great cultural conversations about art, music, food and poetry.
